Fifth Biennial Tee Up 4 Mites

ST. LOUIS, April 17, 2019—The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML) announced the details for the fifth Biennial Tee Up 4 Mites.

Join LWML Past Presidents Gloria Edwards and Linda Reiser for this golf outing Wednesday, June 19, 2019, beginning at 8 a.m. at Magnolia Grove “Crossings” Golf Course in Mobile, Alabama. This course is on the prestigious Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail. The picturesque course features large greens and rolling fairways with an open parkland-type ambiance that includes several water features and crushed oyster shell waste areas. The Crossings course, was recently named one of the Top 50 Public Courses by Golf World Magazine and has hosted LPGA Tour events.

Begin organizing your team so you don’t miss this unique golf experience which offers a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Format for play will be a four-person scramble. Placing singles to complete teams will also be possible. Club rentals are available with prior reservations. The day will begin with registration and a continental breakfast sponsored by Physician Housecalls LLC at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The event concludes at 1 p.m. with an awards luncheon sponsored by Physician Housecalls LLC.

All net proceeds will be given to mites for the LWML 2019–2021 Mission Goal. LWML is currently seeking various Event Sponsors and Hole Sponsorships. Several levels of sponsorships are available. This event provides a great opportunity to play a round of golf on this prestigious course, to have a fun day of recreation and fellowship, and more importantly, to make the LWML mission visible in the community as funds are raised to spread the Gospel message around the world.
