Every One His Witness Workshops
LWML has a very special offer from The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Every One His Witness workshops are opportunities to learn how to reach out to the unchurched people you come in contact with in your daily life. Below are pictures from past workshops.
In a recent trip to a nursing home to visit a couple from our food pantry ministry, I noticed people sitting in their wheelchairs looking at me and smiling. Their smiles seemed to ask, “Are you here to see me?” God’s word tells us, Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world (James 1:27). We should live and love as Christ did. Caring for widows, orphans, and others who are forgotten and overlooked while keeping ourselves holy to God is what "Christ living" is all about. Our lives can be so very busy, making time for those who need us is a wonderful expression of Christ’s love. Think of the difference you may make in their day! Consider making activity blankets for dementia, Alzheimer’s, and stroke patients. Walker bags, lap quilts, and homemade cards are gifts that bring smiles long after a visit. GO and share God’s love.

Have you ever wondered how you could care or even talk with a missionary?
Women at the Des Moines Convention had some fun connecting on Skype with a few of our LCMS Missionaries and discovering how they could send care packages to them. Using the Gospel Outreach LWML Missionary Care Package and Guidelines for Skype pamphlets, you too can discover how to select a missionary and then the fun and joy of supporting and praying for specific needs of that missionary. They would love to have you as partners! Download these easily reproduced masters to share at your group gatherings, or in your church lobby.
Tell us your story of becoming a partner with a missionary via email at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Gospel Outreach Committee
What is Gospel Outreach?
The purpose of the Gospel Outreach Committee is to engage, encourage, and equip women to share their faith in Jesus Christ, their loving Savior, with people of their communities and the world.
What Does This Mean?
God wants you to be yourself when sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others. He has chosen you, and given you the privilege of sharing that joy and excitement of your faith with others. Being a Christian is a blessing, and the joy of Jesus in our lives should be evident to everyone.
The Gospel Outreach Committee provides resources to encourage and equip you to share the Good News of Jesus' great love in your everyday living by:
- developing a closeness to your Savior through prayer, Bible study, worship, and devotional materials
“And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers” (Acts 2:42)
- using every day opportunities to be God's witnesses
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others,” (Matthew 5:14-16a)
- reaching out, understanding that everyone is unique and loved by God
“And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” (Mark 16:15)
