Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me. And the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant in whom you delight, behold, he is coming, says the LORD of hosts (Malachi 3:1).
Our LWML group always has their Christmas party early in December and uses a resource from the LWML website for our program. One of my favorites is βAdvent by Candlelight.β It takes us through the life stages of Mary, mother of Jesus, and helps us to understand our own life stages. It helps prepare our hearts and minds for the coming of the baby Jesus.
As I get closer to Christmas Day and life gets more hectic, IΒ refer back to this beautiful devotion, to recenter and remind myself what is the most important part of this season; the birth of my Lord and Savior, Jesus.Β May your Advent season be blessed.
