LWML Sunday Resources

null

Prepare now for your congregation’s LWML Sunday with new resources for 2019.The new LWML Sunday materials are authored by Rev. Dr. Dean Nadasdy, President Emeritus LCMS Minnesota South District. All are available on the website.

“Faith Like a Mustard Seed”, based on Jesus’ words in Luke 17:6 that faith as small as a mustard seed can move a mulberry tree is the theme for LWML Sunday 2019. We may long for a greater and more heroic faith, but what about the faith we have right now?

LWML Sunday 2019 celebrates the power of a daily walk with Jesus to transform lives and multiply disciples. Little faith or great, there are mulberry trees to be moved! To ensure availability and delivery, all LWML Sunday orders should be placed before September 1, 2019. To view these materials, go to: www.lwml.org/lwml-sunday.

National Youth Gathering

nullMichelle Zollinger and Susan Donnelly hosted the exhibit at the National Youth Gathering in Minnesota. They said it was a joy to talk to so many teens about LWML and that the youth were interested and polite. They were amazed at the over 100 million dollars that LWML has given to missions and missionaries over the past 77 years. Over 22,000 gathered for this five-day event. Participants were shown how to download the LWML App for Mustard Seed Devotions, Bible studies, and podcasts. Several Mission Grant recipients stopped by the exhibit to thank the LWML for grants received and the blessings of the Lord were evident throughout the Gathering.

Lutheran Women in Mission — The Lutheran Women's Missionary League (LWML) is the official women's auxiliary of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Since 1942, the LWML has focused on affirming each woman's relationship with Christ, encouraging and equipping women to live out their Christian lives in active mission ministries, and to support global missions.

The LWML is the leading group for LCMS women where each woman is welcomed and encouraged to use her unique God-given gifts as she supports global missions and serves the Lord with gladness.
