As the year closes, we recall many moments: family members missed, when a disaster hits, new friendships arrive, old ones thrive — not an end or a beginning but a continuation. The gift of time is a blessing.

Pray for opportunities to share those blessings — for God to open ways to make sharing happen and to share His love in quiet or overly Christian ways.

The point — do and share. When you see what is needed, pray, and under God’s grace and guidance, do it. God is making the way whether it is at the end or beginning, in secret or in public.

Finally give God the glory in all things. Thanks be to God.

Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods (Psalm 95:2–3).
