As I lay in my bed this morning, I could hear the winds howling and thought about
the power of God. He speaks and the winds calm.

Matthew 8:26

And He said to them, “Why are you afraid O you of little faith?” Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

The wind continued to roar the rest of the day, and I looked the window and the little sparrows were in the driveway eating rocks and not concerned at all about the weather. So, what do we need to be worried about?

Matthew 6:26

Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?

Our Heavenly Father cares and watches over us always. He is with us in times of trouble and times of joy. He is with us in our mission work and sharing of the Gospel. So be like the birds and do not worry.
