Ready for the LWML Convention?
The LWML Convention is less than a month away. Are you ready to proclaim Christ and His salvation loudly and clearly?
The first step in your preparation will be to review the convention webpage which is packed with information. Before you go, two documents you should download and use are the pre-convention devotion and the “Blessing of the Convention Participants.”
The pre-convention devotion written by Rev. Dr. Greg Walton, helps you focus on the theme — both celebrating our Lord and sharing the Good News with the nations.
The “Blessing of the Convention Participants” written by Rev. John Heckmann, past LWML pastoral counselor, will send the women and men from your congregation to Milwaukee with the Lord’s blessings and your congregations’ prayers.
As you prepare, reread the convention Scripture verse, Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! The Lord looks down from heaven; he sees all the children of man (Psalm 33:12–13).
