Home
We call this message a “Home Page” article. Why? Because this is the “Home Page” of the Lutheran Women in Mission’s website. This is where you begin, a hub where you can reach all other pages that contain LWML resources and information. Home is defined as a central location for family, somewhere that is familiar, and where you feel peace.
For Christians, we know that this world is only temporary. Heaven is our home! Jesus Christ is our central focus and He has prepared a place for us in heaven. We are His through baptism and, even as we experience the joy of God’s promises here on earth, we look forward to eternity with our Savior. He is our home — familiar and secure.
“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also (John 14:1–3).
