This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24 RSV).

Every morning when I get up, one of the very first things I do is eat breakfast: food for the body. The next thing I do is open up my iPad and look at my email. The first one I read is my daily Mustard Seed Devotion from LWML: food for the soul. 

I love that the devotions are short, to the point, and apply to me. It is a great way to start the day. Then I go to the news of the day, knowing that God is in control.
